Boeing issues the award annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance. KID maintained a Silver composite performance rating for each month of the 12-month performance period, from Oct. 1, 2015 to Sept. 30, 2016.

 

KID-Systeme received a 2016 Boeing Performance Excellence Award.

 

Buxtehude, April 2017 – KID-Systeme announced that it has received a 2016 Boeing Performance Excellence Award.

 

Boeing issues the award annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance. KID maintained a Silver composite performance rating for each month of the 12-month performance period, from Oct. 1, 2015 to Sept. 30, 2016.

 

This year, Boeing recognized 480 suppliers who achieved either a Gold or Silver level Boeing Performance Excellence Award.

 

KID-Systeme GmbH is one of 402 suppliers to receive the Silver level of recognition.

 

Peter Schetschine, Managing Director KID-Systeme GmbH said “winning this award is a clear statement towards our dedication to highest performance standards. This is our 5th Boeing Award, we are exceptional proud of this achievement. It demonstrates our dedication to meet our customer expectations and build our partnership.”

 

KID-Systeme supplies SKYpower to Boeing for the Next-Generation 737 and 757 single-aisle airplanes as well as the twin-aisle 747-8, 767, and 777. KID’s in-seat power system has been in Boeing’s program catalogs since 2001 and has been chosen by many airlines worldwide.
